  • i’m not indian, but this is my favorite indian food , I actually ate this with rice in an indian buffet, is it weird? I’m gonna cook this at home too . thanks for your video :)

  • @karry299 Before you add the yogurt reduce the heat to the lowest setting, if its on high it’ll split right away. it took me a few tries before i learned how to do it properly. You can use any plain yogurt doesn’t make any difference! also keep stirring it! hope this helps

  • Hi Aunty I tried making this,

But the moment I added the yogurt to the oil it split up immediately :(

Can you suggest what I did wrong ?

    Thanks

  • Hi aunty, how are you?? I have a quick question for you. What can I use instead of gram flour? would atta or regular flour do? Please let me know. Thank you. take care =)

  • i like all of your videos its exlnt five stars of your videos *****

  • this looks amazing, the best indian cooking video on youtube! Am gonna try it, thanks a million Manjula:)

  • This is impossible to make, the yogurt splits and curds right away, you should have specified that you used some special kind of yogurt. My normal plain yogurt i can buy apparently isnt good enough for this.

  • hi have tried this dish it is very tasty thanks for this video

  • Thank you Manjula Aunty…Your recipes have helped me so many time. I don’t have my mother here in US so I follow your recipes. My husband loves my cooking and really wanted to thank you from my heart from your nice recipes. :-)

  • Even i tried and came out perfect, you don’t how much you made my life easy.

  • Hello Manjula,

Thank you for sharing all these amazing recipes. You are a very good cook. My personal favorites are your paneer tikka masala and bhindi masala.

    Thanks!

  • @dona123ish I have not tried this yet, but on a chef forum they mentioned a remedy for this problem. First is to add the yogurt just before serving. Have the heat very low ( heat makes the yogurt break) . The most important thing though is to add a little of the hot gravy to your yogurt bowl…..stir the hot gravy and yogurt together. This will bring your yogurt up to a higher temp and it has a better chance of not breaking . Then pour the yogurt gravy mix into your pan…mix and serve .

  • Very nice,i am impressed,i will cook it now,wow

  • @ktkavi1 use the blender before u add

  • I LOVE YOUR FOOD SO MUCH .WHERE CAN I TASTE SOME.ANY RESTURANTS
    GOD BLESS
    HAVE A NICE DAY

  • I made this recipe a few days ago. It did taste good. However, the problem with boiled potatoes is that the masala does not tend to enter the potato itself. i will try it again next time using par boiled (slightly undercooked) potatoes. I have never worked with a yoghurt based gravy before, so was really good to try this out. thanks for your delicious recipes.

  • Thanks Aunty.. Aapki is recipe ne mum ki yaad dila di. Student life mein itni acchi sabzi bana ke khana naseeb ki baat hai. Thanks to you hamara saturday kaafi wonderful ho gaya.

  • aunty i used no fat yogurt and added the salt much later as u advised but still the yogurt did break..do i use low fat yogurt?

  • Thank you Manjula aunty

  • When do you add the bay leaf?

  • @ktkavi1
Any dish you are making using yogurt add the salt after dish is cooked half the way.

  • Every time I use yogurt it splits. How can I prevent it?
