@Littlebirdee dont u realise too damn many chinese people moved here since the old ages? then im also mixed thought. but noone stole ur own cuizine. thai and chinese recipes have become blended and now its part of our country. its like u marry a white man and ur baby becomes mixed, for example. get the idea? concentrate on the imigration and other things which came with it in the past decades

@Littlebirdee Indian food has a lot of influence on Malaysian and Singaporean food. Many Indian dishes have been transformed to become Malaysian or Singaporean food. How do you explain that? You can go criticize the Malaysians and Singaporeans that they copied India’s food culture.

@Littlebirdee For your info, Thailand is not far from China. Most Thai-Chinese are the 3rd or 4th generation by now. Their grandparents migrated from southern China to Southwast Asia, especially to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore during the Chinese diaspora between late 19th century (1800s) to early 20th century (1900s). That’s how the food over that region was influenced by southern Chinese. Hope you understand this before coming into conclusion to criticize Thailand and Thai people.

@Littlebirdee There are 2 meaning of the word “Chinese”. One is the people of China. Another is the term ethnic Chinese, which can be any one outside mainland China who has Chinese ancestry. Just like you, you are Indian but if you are a citizen of the United States, can’t you be called an Indian American? does it mean that all Americans should be white?

@Littlebirdee Thailand is a country with different ethnics. Thai is a nationality, not a race in modern term. A bif YES about many Thais are Chinese. Here, I mean Chinese-Thais. There are some 10 million ethnic Chinese in Thailand. Don’t just LOL and think that I am trying to make fun here. When we say the term Chinese, we don’t mean Chinese from China.

Why didn’t you criticize other Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia or Singapore when they have common food with other countries and they call them Malaysian or Singaporean food?
