STEREO: www.youtube.com Quite hard to do a “live performance” because of so much going on at the one time, so decided to show off my little studio instead! This Vangelis piece is my favorite soundtrack of his. It’s not entirely accurate I know! Juno G on grand piano, supersaw strings and drums Juno 106 on piano accompaniment Juno6 on bass Mikrokorg on pulsating bass ESQ 1 on “cs80″ lead and sequencer Korg X5 on drums Mastered using Zoom rfx1000 effects unit Behringer 16 channel mixer Behringer MDX26000 compressor Managed to encode the file to now broadcast in stereo!!!

  • Wow!
Those beautiful compositions, supported by such lush and fat atmosperics.
These are exactly the reasons why I still listen so often to Vangelis.
I have read that german interview.
    It all sounds very familiar.
The album “Themes”, a personal milestone in musical experience.
On of my rare favourites, Abba with Eagle.
And not listening to song texts much.

  • Wow! Another brilliant performance! Where the drum track comes from? Any particular drum machine? Do you use VST reverb or is it a hardware reverb? Wow! Amazing! Yeah!!!

  • @666rob666zombie666 He has already done a cover of that. Check his channel. I’ve got it on a CD I got from him a year or so ago. His really deep cuts aren’t generally published for public consumption. But you should hear some of them. Really good stuff. The man is definitely talented. He is also a very nice person.

  • Very, very good indeed. It isn’t often that I enjoy these home-brews, but this is a notable exception. Absolutely tremendous.

  • better than the original I have on the CD!!

  • Very creative cover of Vangelis’ “The Bounty.” I like the dark ominous tones in the background.

  • Great to see so many people take an interest in this most compelling of true stories.

For anyone interested Bligh’s grave is in St Mary Churchyard, Lambeth, London (where he is interred with his wife Elizabeth). I made a pilgrimage to Lambeth last year, and remembering what Bligh might have said, kept a stiff upper lip.

Bligh’s house at 100 Lambeth Road has railings outside the garden decorated with . . Breadfruit!

I can understand Christian’s emotions as my own my is Balinese.
